For much of my ministry, God has allowed me to serve in Christian camping. I’ve watched thousands of people encounter Christ around campfires, on hiking trails, in cabins, and under open skies. Camp has taught me something important: you can pitch a tent in an hour, but building a disciple takes a lifetime.
The name Tentmaker comes from the apostle Paul, who made tents while making disciples. His ministry wasn’t confined to a synagogue or a church building. He invested in people wherever life took him. His work supported his mission, but his mission was always people.
My goal is to help people understand the Bible in its historical, cultural, geographical, and literary context, not simply to gain knowledge, but to walk more closely with Jesus.
Pitch the Tent
Lay a biblical foundation. Learn Scripture in its historical, cultural, and literary context.
Walk the Trail
Follow Jesus daily. Let biblical understanding shape faithful obedience.
Guide Others
Lead others down the same path. Make disciples who make disciples.
